The travel agency Litoralulromanesc.ro, owned by local entrepreneur Ionuț Nedea, which sells holiday packages for the domestic coast, has been acquired by Szallas Group, part of the Polish group Wirtualna Polska Holding. The transaction value amounts to 21 million EUR.
Szallas Group is not at its first local transaction. In 2020, the Polish group acquired the booking portal Travelminit.

Szallas Group owns online accommodation booking portals in Poland (Nocowanie.pl), Hungary (Szallas.hu), the Czech Republic (Hotel.cz), and Croatia. The company has also been present in Romania since 2020, when it acquired the booking site Travelminit.ro, which offers over 8,000 accommodation units nationwide, generating bookings worth 30 million EUR in 2023.
Litoralulromanesc.ro agency has a portfolio of over 500 accommodation units where, in 2023, tourists made bookings with a total value exceeding 45 million EUR.
