Touring Eurolines, managed by businessman Dragoș Anastasiu, has acquired 95% of the shares in the Valea Verde tourist complex located in Cund, Mureș County, following an assignment approved on December 29, 2025. The transaction marks the definitive exit from the shareholding of German founders Jonas and Ulrike Schäfer, while consolidating the niche tourism portfolio of the group managed by Anastasiu.
As part of the operation, the Schäfer couple transferred a stake of 44,908 shares with a total cumulative nominal value of approximately EUR 85.5 thousand, representing 11.28% each of the share capital. The total share capital of the company operating the resort is approximately EUR 379.2 thousand, divided into 199,069 shares with a nominal value of approximately EUR 1.9 each. Following this restructuring of the ownership structure, the remaining 5% of the shares remains in the portfolio of Dragoș Anastasiu’s life partner, Brandl Hildegard-Helene.
The Valea Verde project was launched in 2007 by Jonas and Ulrike Schäfer out of a desire to revitalize the community in Cund through a model of sustainable rural tourism and local heritage promotion. The resort is located about 30 kilometers from Sighișoara and 45 kilometers from Târgu Mureș. Dragoș Anastasiu first entered Valea Verde’s shareholding in 2015. Under the new ownership structure, the Transylvanian complex will benefit from the operational resources and commercial network of Touring Eurolines. The entrepreneur also holds the Green Village resort in the Danube Delta within his portfolio.
