Businessman Tomah Kahled, owner of the Sir commercial complex, is relaunching his investments in the Bucharest real estate market through developer Roka Development. According to information obtained by Profit.ro, he is simultaneously developing two residential projects in the Colentina and Timpuri Noi areas, a cumulative investment of approximately EUR 20 million, and is preparing the construction of a new 4-star hotel in the Orhideea area.
The two residential projects, Park View and Platinum, total 142 apartments and have a delivery deadline of 2027. The Park View project, located on a plot of approximately 1,500 sqm in the Plumbuita area, will have a 2S+P+9E structure, offering 58 apartments and commercial spaces on the ground floor. In parallel, in the Timpuri Noi area, work is underway on the Platinum building, an 11-story building with 84 apartments, located next to the Timpuri Noi Square office complex. Currently, the developer has a portfolio of approximately 250 apartments for sale, including the units available in the Roka Doamna Ghica complex, completed in 2024.
In the hotel segment, Roka Development is awaiting permits for the construction of a 4-star hotel on Șoseaua Orhideelor, in the vicinity of Sir Orhideea. The new unit will be integrated into the Sir hotel chain, which recently also includes the 4-star Sir Royal hotel (formerly ExpoCenter) in the Romexpo area, which has 39 rooms and 78 accommodation places.
