Winter 2021-2022 will likely be the most expensive tourist season to date, both domestically and internationally, according to specialists.
Experts advise tourists to wait a few weeks after New Year’s Eve for their vacation, as prices drop then and conditions can be even better.
“Those who are vaccinated can travel wherever they wish; for unvaccinated individuals, the situation becomes very complicated because Romania is on the red list and will remain there for some time. Making international bookings at the moment is quite risky; however, there are a number of states that clearly accept and we know will continue to accept PCR tests or proof of recovery: Egypt, Zanzibar, Thailand, but within the EU territory, it will be very complicated to travel until December 31,” stated Cristian Pitulice.
