Therme Group and Marriott announce global strategic partnership

Therme Group has entered into a strategic alliance with hotel chain Marriott International to explore and develop initiatives dedicated to integrating wellbeing and longevity into the hospitality industry. The partnership brings together Therme’s expertise in creating large-scale wellness experiences with the global network operated by Marriott.

Under the agreement, Therme will collaborate directly with Marriott Design Lab, the American hotel group’s research and development hub, to innovate guest amenities ranging from spas and fitness zones to new room concepts. The initial phases of the partnership aim to introduce Therme destinations to Marriott Bonvoy loyalty members through dedicated travel and accommodation packages.

Therme Group attracts 5.3 million visitors annually to its European resorts, including Therme Bucharest — the world’s first LEED Platinum certified wellness resort — and locations in Erding, Sinsheim, Euskirchen, and Titisee-Neustadt. The company has new projects under development in Manchester, Singapore, Frankfurt, Toronto, Washington D.C., Dallas, and Dubai. Marriott International holds a portfolio of nearly 9,100 properties across more than 30 brands in 142 countries and territories.
