Therme Bucharest inaugurates 3 more theme parks within the complex this year

This month, Therme Bucharest is inaugurating two urban theme parks featuring unique relaxation and disconnection facilities. This continues the complex’s expansion and greening project, adding over 10,000 sqm of green space unique in concept, execution, and atmosphere, along with more than 20,000 perennial plants and trees, allowing clients to enjoy true oases of recreation and disconnection year-round.
The parks are set to be launched in several stages, two of them in August and a third by the end of this year. All three parks were designed by Sicco de Boer, a Dutch architect and one of the most internationally acclaimed concept-park designers.
Located in the Galaxy outdoor area, the Feng Shui Park features over 120 species of perennial plants and 40 species of trees, covering an area of 4,900 sqm. The 8 gardens within the park symbolize the elements of primordial balance, arranged according to ancient laws of harmony between man and nature. The area includes spaces for meditation and relaxation, as well as play areas for children or for spending leisure time in larger groups. The entire architecture invites reflection, rebirth, and healing, according to the set of principles inherited from ancient Chinese philosophers.
In the outdoor area of The Palm lies Pangea Park, a massive puzzle of vegetation spanning 3,800 sqm, in an atmosphere that recreates primordial tranquility before the earth looked as we know it today. Pangea Park includes precious minerals, as well as medicinal plants and 12 different tree species, telling the story of the earth as it looked 250 million years ago when it consisted of a single large landmass from which the current continents were formed. The plants and minerals of each continent correspond to a specific curative purpose, allowing visitors to admire minerals such as calcite, amber, rose quartz, blue apatite, emerald, rock crystal, aquamarine, seraphinite, or blue sapphire, depending on the park area they are in.
Among the star trees of this park are the black birch (Betula Nigra), considered the tree of life by Germans, Celts, and Scandinavians; the healing Japanese pagoda tree (Styphnolobium japonicum); or Ginkgo biloba, the Japanese walnut, described in Chinese medicine books thousands of years ago.
The two parks are a constantly changing ecosystem, so from season to season and year to year, visitors will be able to discover different facets of them.
Additionally, this autumn will see the launch of the third park, the Fibonacci Park, a true spectacle for visitors that will combine nature, art, and mathematics.
