Christian Weiser, CEO of the A-Heat group from Austria, the owner of the Therme Bucharest wellness and relaxation complex, stated that expansion works for the project have already been started, 6 months earlier than initially estimated. Thus, the Galaxy zone, dedicated to family and fun, will benefit from a series of expansions that will be put into use starting from March until the end of June.
„With an additional investment that will amount to approximately 6 million EUR, by mid-summer, the Galaxy zone will be expanded with an outdoor pool with a pool bar, a restaurant with a capacity of 500 seats, an additional relaxation area with 450 sunbeds, and a spectacular new slide, Sky River. After the first 6 months, we will be in a position to announce other development plans,” Weiser specified.
In the first two months since opening, about 200,000 people visited the location.
