Theodora Becali Seeks to Lease the Former Inter Hotel in Venus Resort

Theodora Becali, the eldest daughter of Gigi Becali, intends to lease the former Inter hotel in the Venus resort, which reopened in 2022 as Becali Hotel. The young woman received it as a gift from her father after he purchased it from Ioan Niculae.

Businessman Gigi Becali acquired the hotel at auction for the substantial sum of 6.8 million EUR from the Interagro group of companies.

Built in 1971, the hotel features a constructed area of 2,670 sqm and a 4,584 sqm plot, with direct beach access, two restaurants, and an outdoor pool. The accommodation unit consists of 70 double rooms, 54 of which are 5-star rated and 16 classified as 4-star.

Prior to its acquisition by the Becali family, Ioan Niculae modernized the hotel with approximately 10 million EUR.

Theodora and her husband, Mihai Mincu, also have other real estate businesses. The two built a significant residential complex with 700 apartments and 50 houses on the shores of Lake Pipera. Mihai Mincu claimed the investment totals no less than 40 million EUR.
