The Arad County Council has launched the ‘Tourism in the Miniș-Măderat Vineyard’ program, an initiative aimed at developing tourism within Arad’s wine-growing region.
In this context, the ‘National Tourism Information and Promotion Center’ has also opened on the beach of Lake Ghioroc.
The facility was inaugurated in the presence of the mayors of Ghioroc, Covăsânț, Șiria, and Vladimirescu, the leadership of the County Council, dozens of tourism investors, business agents, winery owners, and project developers in Arad’s tourism sector.
Following investments of approximately 300 million RON in the Miniș-Măderat Vineyard, the County Council leadership aims to develop an active center here—a vibrant space that will facilitate organized visits to the vineyard throughout the entire summer season.
Arad is the only county in the western part of the country where the County Council has opened two tourism centers to recognize and promote local potential.
