On March 13, the national airline Tarom announced that it has implemented, on both domestic and international flights, the intranet service called AirFi, which is a portable in-flight entertainment system. Thus, starting March 14, this service is available on all domestic and international flights operated with Airbus 318 and Boeing 737-700.
AirFi should allow passengers to access, from mobile devices, news, chat with other passengers, games, music and movies. Access to a shopping platform is an additional option.
