The Portuguese national airline TAP Portugal intends to introduce daily flights on the Bucharest-Lisbon route. Until March 31, the airline has 6 flights per week scheduled, stated Claudia Stroescu, sales manager for Romania.
TAP Portugal expects a load factor of 90%, with 150 passengers per flight. Starting in November, the company will operate using only its own aircraft.
In September, the company recorded a record level of 1.38 million passengers, an increase of 19% compared to other years when 220,000 passengers were recorded. The Portuguese airline’s passenger load factor was 86.8%, up by 1.4%.
