In the meeting on September 24, the Government approved the granting of state aid worth 22.284 million RON for the airports in Cluj, Iași, Sibiu, Craiova, and Bacău, to compensate for the losses recorded as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ministry of Public Works, Development, and Administration (MLPDA) announced that this measure is part of the Romanian Government’s policy of support granted to companies affected by the crisis, for the continuation of economic activities and for the payment of employees whose activity was temporarily interrupted, according to the National Investment and Economic Recovery Plan.
