Starting March 27, TAP Portugal Cancels Several Flights, Including Bucharest-Lisbon

On January 18, the airline TAP Portugal announced via its Facebook page that it will discontinue several routes, including the one to Bucharest. Currently, the operator is the only one flying between Romania and Portugal.  
„To improve profitability, TAP Portugal has reorganized its operations by suspending, as of March 27, some less profitable routes. Therefore, from that date, TAP will suspend flights from Lisbon to Bogota/Panama, Gothenburg, Hannover, Zagreb, Budapest, and Bucharest. TAP will contact all passengers with tickets issued to and from these destinations in advance to find an alternative route or to fully refund the amounts paid,” the announcement states.
