The ski season is in full swing, supported by the efforts of the Harghita County Council through ADI Harghita to establish #SkiHarghita, the first ski region in Romania, which currently includes 12 ski slopes across 6 locations.
Access to these slopes is possible starting Saturday, January 22, with a single card that can be purchased from any of the locations. In this regard, 14,000 cards have been distributed to ski area operators.
“Tourism is becoming increasingly strong in Harghita County. Through ADI Harghita, under the coordination of Vice President Biró Barna Botond and Director Szabó Károly, we have managed to develop family-oriented services. We are moving forward and including wellness offers alongside the ski offer, so that you can access as many services as possible at once. By diversifying services, we want to offer families in Harghita the opportunity to earn income from tourism, as well as from the promotion and marketing of local, traditional, and ecological products,” stated Borboly Csaba, President of the Harghita County Council.
Access with the same card is available within a 100-kilometer radius in the areas of Bucin, Borsec, Miercurea Ciuc, and Băile Homorod, as follows:
- Lobogó Slope, Băile Homorod,
- Bogdan Ski and Recreation Center,
- Havas Bucsin Slope, Bucin Pass,
- Veresvirág Ski Slope,
- Kissomlyó Slope,
- “Speranța” Ski Resort.
