Romania’s Tourism Fair 2026 (February 12-15) attracted over 25,000 visitors

The event was marked by a strong resurgence in travelers’ appetite, offering discounts of up to 65% on vacations worldwide.

Highlights and offers

– Discounts and Promotions: Agencies offered substantial discounts, such as 65% for selected hotels in Greece through Hello Holidays and up to 55% for summer stays through IRI Travel.

– New Destinations: The focus was on expanding the portfolio to destinations in the Middle East, Africa and North America, as well as group cruises.

– Local Tourism: Destinations such as Oradea and Maramureș were heavily promoted, with Maramureș ranking 5th in the top destinations awarded at the fair.

– Interactive Experiences: visitors participated in traditional handicraft workshops, tastings of local products and live cooking demonstrations, as well as traditional dance workshops.

– Location: Romexpo, Pavilion B2.

– Parallel events: Concurrent with TTR, Antique Market I, dedicated to objets d’art and antiques, was held in Pavilion C2.

– Fees: Access for the public was €4 per day and parking cost €1 per hour.

– Hospitality HUB: A novelty of the edition was the section dedicated to the HoReCa sector, focused on solutions for modernizing tourism infrastructure.
