Between November 14 – 17, the autumn edition of the Romanian Tourism Fair took place at Romexpo.
This year, over 230 exhibiting companies from Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, France, Greece, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Republic of Moldova, Palestine, Romania, Sri Lanka, Turkey, and Ukraine are participating in the fair. The internationalization rate of the fair is 21%, including a Japanese agency promoting itself in Romania.
Representatives of county councils, cities, and communes in Romania will make known the traditions, customs, and beauties of local lands during the fair. County councils from Arad, Argeș, Bacău, Bihor, Botoșani, Brașov, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Gorj, Hunedoara, Maramureș, Mureș, Neamț, Suceava, and Vâlcea propose activities and places for winter holidays in traditional Romanian style to visitors.
Ski holidays in Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Bulgaria are also offered, along with reduced rates for stays in Romanians’ favorite summer holiday destinations: Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia, Spain, Bulgaria, but also the Romanian seaside, circuits for exploring North America, South America, Australia, and Asia, or special discounts and booking surprises for trips to exotic destinations such as Thailand, Maldives, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico, Bali, Mauritius, Seychelles, or Zanzibar.
