Romania: Poor and Unattractive Presence at the World Trade Market in London

Between November 5-7, Romania participated in the World Trade Market in London. Romania’s stand in London cost over £200,000, covered an area of over 200 sqm, and was marked only by a banner reading “100 Romania”, to mark the centenary, a message that foreign visitors do not understand from this expression alone.
Among the other stands, which literally overwhelm with the information they convey, through imagination and exuberance, Romania surprises with its flatness and visual open space. The image is completed by the discreet presence of a folk artist painting meticulously. For this stand, the Ministry of Tourism did not conduct a public procurement procedure and awarded the project directly to the fair organizer.
