Romania is strengthening its presence in the prestigious international hospitality ranking with the inclusion of nine new accommodation units in the Michelin Key 2026 selection. With these additions, the country reaches a total of 25 properties recommended by the Michelin Guide and eligible to receive one, two, or three keys, with the final list of distinctions scheduled to be officially announced on September 18.
The nine newly added properties to the selection are Elania Resort & Spa, Radisson Blu Hotel Cluj, and Vibre Hotel (Cluj-Napoca), Kronwell Hotel and Qosmo Hotel (Brașov), Moon Valley (Comarnic), The Pines Boutique Villa (Vama Veche), Valedor Hotel Boutique & Spa (Bușteni), and Zara Chalet (Bran). These join the 16 properties selected in the 2025 edition, of which two currently hold two Michelin keys (Bethlen Estates Transylvania and Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard Bucharest), and four hold one key each (InterContinental Athenee Palace Bucharest, Singureni Manor Equestrian Retreat, Epoque Hotel Relais & Chateaux, and The Marmorosch Autograph Collection Bucharest).
