Rehabilitation works on the Sun Motorway will start in September

The National Company of Motorways and National Roads in Romania, CNADNR, announced that rehabilitation works on Motorway 2, the Drajna-Lehliu section, will not be carried out during the summer period, as they are scheduled to start in September at the earliest.
The Drajna-Lehliu section was opened in 2007, with the existing works having a lifespan of 6 years. For the other sections, track I Bucharest – Constanta, and track II Constanta – Bucharest, periodic maintenance and current repairs are planned, according to the program for organizing the national road and motorway network.
