The former Hotel Bucuresti, built in 1977, was renamed Radisson Blu in 2009.

Among the facilities are 4 restaurants, 3 bars, a 1,500 sqm conference center, a Spa, a health center, an outdoor pool, an outdoor jacuzzi, a jogging track, a casino, and shops.

The investment for the 424 rooms of the 5-star Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest was over 70 million EUR.

The hotel will be expanded through the construction of over 200 new rooms, located in completely renovated buildings. Thus, the 24 million EUR investment will be for the newly built rooms, the redesign of the lobby, and the inner garden.

Radisson Blu was owned by Elbit Imaging. In 2017, it was purchased by the investment funds Revetas Capital and Cerberus for 170 million EUR.
