Prestige Tours, part of the Turkish group Calypso Tour, is launching charter flights to the resort of Aqaba in Jordan starting in March. The flights, operated by the scheduled airline Royal Jordanian Airlines, will depart weekly from Bucharest between March and June 2018.
Prestige Tours estimates that 5,000 Romanian tourists will opt for a stay in Aqaba in the first year of operation.
The high demand for Turkey has prompted the travel agency to launch bus trips to Turkey this year, in addition to charter flights. Thus, in 2018, Prestige Tours is introducing bus transport to the resorts of Marmaris and Didim, with five weekly departures from Bucharest and Craiova. The average package costs 70 EUR/person, a price that includes on-board catering.
The bus trips to the Turkish coast will be operated between May and October 2018.
Prestige Tours was acquired from Happy Tour by Calypso Tour, one of the largest tour operators in Turkey.
