This growth stems from consolidating its position in the online markets of Romania and Turkey in the flight tickets, vacations, and hotels segments, respectively increasing the volumes sold in Europe through Paravion platforms in English, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Bulgarian, and Hungarian, as well as expanding into new markets (USA and Southeast Asia).
The largest increases were recorded in the flight tickets segment – 50%, hotels – 35%, city break packages, and charter vacations.
The most significant increases are recorded for departures from Romania to Thailand, Singapore, Cyprus, Iceland, Indonesia, South Korea, and the United States.
The top 5 most sought-after destinations for one-week vacations this year are Crete, Zakynthos, Rhodes, Corfu, and Antalya, while for city breaks, the most popular are Rome, Vienna, Prague, Amsterdam, and Brussels.
Those who only buy flight tickets choose Amsterdam, Istanbul, Paris, Munich, and Prague.
Last year, Paravion recorded a turnover of 193 million RON, an increase of 150%, and a loss of 1.1 million RON, according to data from the Ministry of Public Finance website.
