Paralela 45 Estimates Over €45 Million in Revenue This Year

Alin Burcea, the owner of Paralela 45, estimates revenues of over €45 million for this year, a 10% increase compared to last year when the company recorded €40 million in receipts.
In the first nine months of this year, the agency recorded sales of €35 million, 12% more than in the same period last year.
This year, Paralela 45 opened an office in Chisinau, reaching a total of 38 agencies, 37 of which are in Romania.
The company operates charters, including from the Republic of Moldova and major cities across the country to 40 destinations, with Greece and Turkey ranking first. For next summer, Burcea announced the launch of two new charters: the first to Faro, Portugal, and the second to Split, Croatia. Additionally, a weekly flight will operate from Cluj to Santorini, Greece, and another from Iasi to Costa Brava, Spain.
From incoming tourism, the agency earns €700,000/year, from domestic tourism €3 million, and from airline ticket sales €10 million. However, the most significant part is outgoing tourism, which accounts for more than half of the receipts.
Paralela 45’s largest sales come from vacations in Greece, Turkey, Spain, and Bulgaria, but the agency also specializes in exotic vacations, sending tourists to Ghana, Togo, Benin, or Kenya, as well as Tanzania, Zanzibar, South Africa, or Ethiopia. The agency’s packages also include circuits in Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, or Armenia.
