Paralela 45 estimates it will send 18,000 tourists to Turkey this year

Paralela 45 estimates a doubling of sales for Turkey this year, from 9,000 to 18,000 tourists, stated Alin Burcea, the agency’s owner, who claims that for Romanian tourism, 2018 will be the year of Antalya.

In the first quarter of this year, the agency recorded sales of EUR 17 million, compared to EUR 14 million in 2017.

Last year, Paralela 45 recorded sales of approximately EUR 47 million, and for this year it estimates an increase of about 25%, up to EUR 60 million.

Burcea also specified that the agency has started, from this season, operating charters to the airport in the Turkish city of Alanya, in an attempt to shorten the waiting time for tourists and provide them with an alternative to the overcrowded Antalya airport.

Outside of Turkey, sales for Spain, the Romanian coast, the Bulgarian coast, and Greece have increased this year.
