Travel agency Paralela 45 will open 6 more own and franchise agencies by the end of this year, reaching a total of 45 locations, stated the agency’s owner, Alin Burcea.
Additionally, the company estimates it will record total business of 50 million EUR this year, an increase of nearly 14% from 44 million EUR in 2016.
The company will open own agencies in Bacău and Focșani and franchise systems in Sf. Gheorghe, Arad, and two in Bucharest. The investment in an own agency does not exceed 15,000 EUR.
This year, Paralela 45 opened a franchise agency in Bucharest, one in Zalău, and an own agency in Brașov.
Burcea stated that the number of Romanian tourists who chose Antalya decreased from 100,000 in 2015 to 80,000 tourists. He also estimates that sales for the Romanian and Bulgarian coasts will see increases of 25-30% this year. Regarding individual tourism, Bulgaria is the best represented, followed by Greece and Croatia.
