Entrepreneurs Ovidiu Andrieș and Daniel Imbre have acquired a 49.2% stake in Honest Food, the company operating restaurants under the Piața9 brand in Oradea and Bucharest, according to data analyzed by Profit.ro. The transaction was completed following a EUR 700 thousand loan, convertible into shares, and an additional contribution of EUR 1.3 million, with control acquired alongside the Galea family and Cristian Varodi.
Until now, Honest Food was owned by the Galea family (88% of shares) and Cristian Varodi (12%). The companies owned by the Galea family (Lola’s Bakery and Paul Louis Consulting) and those controlled by Daniel Imbre (Happy Crop and Motion Capital) did not carry out economic activity or generate turnover in the 2022–2024 period.
Ovidiu Andrieș, founder of Smart Diesel Group alongside Daniel Imbre — a company with business of EUR 278 million in 2024 —, sold his remaining 30% stake to the German group DKV in 2024.
