Niro Investment Group, which manages the assets of Business Hotels Investment, will complete the construction of the Swissotel hotel in the Expozitiei area of the capital within 2 years, in 2023.
Niro Group signed a management contract with the Accor hotel chain, and in 2019, it started construction work for the opening of the first hotel under the Swissotel brand in Bucharest.
The building will have 23 floors, three underground levels, and a height of 85 m, being the tallest hotel in Romania. The estimated investment amounts to 63 million EUR.
Construction work continued even during the pandemic, and the superstructure part has been completed, with work on the facade, plumbing, and interior space to follow.
Zsolt Nagy, CEO of Niro Investment Group, stated that the project’s completion is estimated for 2023.
