Moldova delights the public at the International Gastronomy Festival in Paris

The Republic of Moldova is taking part in the 7th International Gastronomy Festival in Paris, a prestigious event that started on September 11 and gathers culinary cultures from all over the world, MOLDPRES reports. The stand impressed with a combination of tradition, authenticity and creativity and was organized with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in France and the Moldovan Diaspora. Visitors had the opportunity to discover dishes prepared by the Fuior Gourmet team from Chisinau, as well as handmade sweets offered by entrepreneurs from the diaspora: Bakery Café, Lilia Traiteur, Nadejda Groza, ETNIC Moldova and Galerie Moldave à Paris. The wine sector is represented by internationally renowned producers – Cricova, Purcari, Castel Mimi, Asconi and Chateau Vartely, bringing to the French capital a true tour of wine-producing Moldova. The Moldovan stand drew the attention of prominent guests, including the masters of French gastronomy from Les Toques Françaises, but also personalities such as Pascal Tebibel, director for institutional relations of LOXAM, and Steve Gentili, president of the Francophone Business Forum. The International Festival of Gastronomy in Paris will continue until September 15, offering the public the opportunity to discover and savor the culinary and cultural identity of the Republic of Moldova.
