Minister of Tourism, Bogdan Trif, stated during a meeting with mayors of spa resorts in Romania that these resorts will receive funding for tourism infrastructure development projects in an amount equal to that granted to resorts of national interest.
He asked mayors to come forward with as many projects as possible that could receive funding from the Ministry of Tourism.
"We are meeting your needs with a very important change to help you obtain money from the Ministry of Tourism much more easily, namely presenting documentation only at the feasibility study level, without the need for the technical project when submitting documents for funding. In addition, the Government of Romania has approved the investment financing program for the modernization and development of spa resorts, where the financing percentage is 100%. This program is an important financial support for local public authorities that want to invest in spa tourism infrastructure,” the minister also stated.
