The Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment, through the General Directorate of Tourism, has launched the application dedicated to economic operators in tourism, with a view to inventorying the amounts paid in advance, related to travel service packages and independent tourism services not yet executed.
This can be accessed on the platform https://csu.prevenire.gov.ro/, in the Forms section (Forms for economic operators in tourism).
“By centralizing this information, we will concretely know their financial situation, with up-to-date data. Moreover, to have an overview, we aimed to collect information regarding human resources as well. These data will allow us to evaluate the real situation in the market, and subsequently propose measures that can support the hospitality industry and tourists,” stated Emil-Razvan Pirjol, State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment – General Directorate of Tourism.
Through the application, financial information will be digitally collected from economic operators, regarding the amounts collected in advance from clients for travel service packages and independent tourism services, as well as payments made to external partners, while also considering the record of existing human resources at their level.
Economic operators in tourism are recommended to provide this information through the online form, but completing it is not mandatory.
The Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment – General Directorate of Tourism holds a series of data regarding the amounts collected in advance by travel agencies for travel service packages, obtained through monthly reports, but it is necessary for this to be updated and supplemented with information regarding independent tourism services, as well as human resources.
