The Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism launched on Friday the Cultural-Tourism Route “Popular Craftsmen and Traditional Crafts in Romania” during the Romanian Tourism Fair.
“Today we are launching the route ‘Popular Craftsmen and Traditional Crafts in Romania’, which includes the county councils of Suceava, Maramureş, Neamţ, and Botoşani. On this occasion, I want to announce that we have managed to launch this route in the Republic of Moldova as well, making it a transnational route,” stated Tudoriţa Lungu, State Secretary in the ministry, present at the event.
In turn, Daniel Leş, a craftsman from Maramureş, pointed out that tourists are very interested in experiencing and trying traditional crafts with their own hands.
He urged Romanians to preserve their values and to wear Romanian clothes, the traditional folk costume.
