Marius Usturoiu regained possession of the Mercur-Minerva complex through foreclosure

Marius Usturoiu, owner of the Mareea travel agency and Mareea Hotels, has won in court the cancellation of the contract termination signed 2 years ago with Sorin Fati, owner of the Mercur-Minerva complex, through which he was to purchase the Mercur-Minerva complex in Mamaia in installments over 20 years.
On October 10, Usturoiu entered the complex with a bailiff, after 1 year of litigation, taking possession of the two hotels for an unlimited period.
Usturoiu specified that he has currently obtained a court decision declaring the termination of his hotel purchase contract null and void.
The owner of the complex, Sorin Fati, had terminated Marius Usturoiu’s contract last autumn, through which he had purchased Mercur-Minerva with payments in installments over 25 years.
Once back in possession of the complex, Usturoiu stated that he will start selling vacations for next summer. He also said that he has already started the recruitment process and that he wants to have a 4-star tourist package in 2018, better than in the five years they operated the complex classified at 3 stars.
