The 5-star boutique hotel Epoque in Bucharest recorded a turnover of approximately 1.2 million EUR in the first half of this year, an increase of 10.7% compared to the same period last year, according to company officials.
Diana Popescu, CEO of Hotel Epoque, stated that the growth drivers in the first half were the maximization of RevPar by increasing both ADR and occupancy, as well as the growth of food & beverage revenues, especially the a la carte restaurant.
In 2017, the unit recorded a turnover of 2.4 million EUR, operating at an average occupancy rate of 70%.
Epoque Hotel, which has a capacity of 45 rooms, was opened in 2010 after an investment of 8 million euros.
The hotel representative specified that the average occupancy rate in H1 was 68%, and foreign clients represented 85% of the total clients, with the main markets being the UK, France, USA, Israel, Germany, and Italy.
