The President Resort in Băile Felix is expanding its portfolio with the inauguration, on June 27, of the Grand Hotel President, a new 5-star property dedicated to the premium wellness and hospitality segment. The launch of the new project coincides with the 25th anniversary of the President Hotels & Resort group and marks a stage of strategic consolidation of the complex’s position in the spa tourism market of western Romania.
The new eight-story hotel offers 116 premium accommodation units and features business facilities, such as a conference room with a capacity of up to 40 people. The service area includes two restaurants (one of which is an à la carte restaurant with 280 seats, equipped with a culinary show area) and four bars. In the relaxation segment, the hotel offers its own SPA center with indoor and outdoor pools, water slides, a children’s splash zone, cosmetic and anti-aging treatment rooms, saunas, a fitness room, and an infinity pool located on the rooftop. The complex’s director, Dumitru Fechete, specified that the new investment targets both the family tourism component and the luxury leisure and medical spa niche.
The opening event, scheduled to begin at 17:00, will bring together local and national authorities, business partners, and media representatives. The program includes official speeches and a series of artistic performances, including concerts by the band Holograf, Adrian Enache & Gașca, singer Năstăcuța Iuga, and the ‘Bihorul’ Ensemble, with the events concluding with a fireworks display.
