The Government has started the process for the IPO listing of about 20-30% of the shares of the Bucharest National Airports Company, the authorities’ intention being to launch part of the shares on the foreign market as well, the capital obtained to be used for the company’s development.
Prime Minister Victor Ponta hopes that the listing will take place this year, the decision having already been made.
The Bucharest National Airports Company is owned by the Ministry of Transport and manages the two airports of the Capital – Henri Coanda International Airport – Otopeni and Aurel Vlaicu International Airport – Baneasa.
