GastroPan 2015: Culinary Competitions, Demonstrations, and Technologies in Targu Mures this March

Taste, innovation, art, and technology meet from March 19-21, 2015, during the seventh edition of the GastroPan exhibition. In addition to the complete range of solutions and technologies for bakery, confectionery, and HoReCa businesses, the event will reveal industry trends and talents through a program rich in demonstrations and competitions that will award the Bread and Cake of the Year 2015.
GastroPan will host, at the Expo President Center in Targu Mures, the stands of over 130 suppliers from the bakery, confectionery, and HoReCa sectors, who will present their offers to the 20,000 invited visitors – entrepreneurs and specialists from the industry.

At the GastroPan stands, visitors will observe everything from artisanal bread baking processes to the most innovative production technologies. They will discover the newest assortments of artisanal ice cream, the latest trends in confectionery and chocolate shops, and novelties in gastronomy and HoReCa.
By visiting the exhibition, you can experience, alongside top demonstrators from the country and abroad, cake decorating techniques, fruit and vegetable carving, modeling caramelized sugar or sugar paste. At the same time, you will admire numerous artistic pieces, exceptional culinary platters, and the best bakery, pastry, and confectionery products that will define market trends in 2015.
The largest East European exhibition of its kind

GastroPan is the most important specialized exhibition on the Romanian market and also a benchmark event at the European level. This idea is shared by national professional associations (ROMPAN; ANAMOB, ANBCT) and also internationally, even by Peter Becker, president of the International Union of Bakers and Confectioners (UIBC), who will be present for the fourth time at the event.

GastroPan will also host the largest competition dedicated to promoting innovations and talents in the bakery, confectionery, and HoReCa industry. The 8 competition categories grouped into 3 sections, where the Bread and Cake of the Year 2015 will be awarded among others, will bring the competitors’ creativity to the forefront, with the products in the competition becoming sources of inspiration for producers and consumer preferences alike.
