Freelo to be Romania’s first leisure center equipped with an aerodynamic wind tunnel and surf wave pool

KEI Development S.A. has commenced construction on the first leisure center in Romania and the region to be equipped with an aerodynamic wind tunnel and a surf wave pool.
The Freelo leisure center will span an area of 10,000 sqm and will be built in Chitila, near Bucharest. The investment, estimated at approximately 8 million EUR, is set to be completed in the spring of 2016.
The Freelo complex will include an aerodynamic wind tunnel, a surf pool, and a relaxation area with a semi-olympic pool, spa, gourmet restaurant, boutique hotel, and an outdoor video projection area.
The technologies used within the complex are developed exclusively in Romania by local engineers.
