Four Romanian Beaches Awarded Blue Flag Certification

Four Romanian beaches, located in the resorts of Mamaia and Navodari, have received the “Blue Flag” certification this summer season, one more compared to last year.

 Globally, 4,500 beaches and marinas meet the criteria related to water quality, safety and cleanliness necessary for the award.

The four beaches that met all the criteria for the Blue Flag are: Musset Lounge & Beach, Vega Vintage Beach in Mamaia, and Phoenicia Beach and Marina Regina Beach, in Navodari.

 “Blue Flag” is a certification awarded annually by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) to beaches and marinas that meet criteria related to water quality, public safety, education (information) and environmental management.
