The number of direct flights operated during the summer season from Craiova International Airport to Antalya will double starting this year.
The flights will be operated between June 1 and September 14.
Another tourism company has already put Antalya stays on sale, with transport provided via charter flights, which will operate every Friday starting June 14.
This year, investments of over EUR 7 million are planned, including the expansion of the departure and arrival terminals, as well as the parking lot.
The general manager of Craiova International Airport, Mircea Dumitru, stated that in 2018 a new record was recorded in terms of activity volume, with 493,056 passengers.
The company Prestige Tours – Calypso Tour, in partnership with Atlas Global, will continue to operate the Craiova – Antalya summer flight in 2019, with a 216-seat aircraft, every Saturday, between June 1 and September 14 (last departure). In parallel, the company Christian Tour, with Blue Air as a partner, will operate summer flights on the same route, with a 162-seat aircraft, every Friday, between June 14 and September 6 (last departure).
