Eximtur estimates business of 50 million EUR this year

Travel agency Eximtur has budgeted a 5% increase in turnover for this year, up to 50 million EUR, stated Lucia Morariu, shareholder of the travel agency. In 2016, the agency recorded business of 47 million EUR.
 
Eximtur is counting on increased demand for domestic destinations, the Romanian seaside, spa destinations, vacations in Greece, Spain, and exotic ones, Morariu specified.
 
She stated that if public sector employees receive holiday vouchers, vacation consumption will increase, which will also be felt in the business of agencies.
 
In 2016, demand for the Romanian seaside increased by 40%, while for spa resorts, demand was 250% higher.
 
Demand for Turkey decreased last year by 36%, while for Greece and Spain it increased. This year, the agency has a charter from Cluj-Napoca to Thessaloniki, covering the entire resort area of Halkidiki.
