Overnight stays recorded in tourist reception structures in September 2019 totaled 3,027.9 thousand, an increase of 1.5% compared to those in September 2018. Of these, overnight stays of Romanian tourists represented 82.3%, and overnight stays of foreign tourists

The net occupancy rate of accommodation places in September 2019 was 37.7% for total tourist accommodation structures, an increase of 0.8% compared to September 2018. September 2019, an increase of 7.1% compared to September 2018. Road and air transport means were the most used for departures abroad, representing 66.5% and 32.9%, respectively, of the total number of departures.
