The most arrivals of foreign tourists came from Germany (63.9 thousand), Italy (62.7 thousand), Israel (60.9 thousand), France (39 thousand), the United Kingdom (36.5 thousand), and the U.S.A. (35.7 thousand).
Arrivals of foreign visitors to Romania, registered at border points, were 3,171.2 thousand in the analyzed period, an increase of 6% compared to the same period last year, and road and air transport means were the most used for arrivals of foreign visitors to Romania, representing 72.9% and 24.9%, respectively, of the total number of arrivals.
