For this year, the travel agency Eturia, specialized in exotic vacations, estimates it will record a turnover of 11 million EUR, an increase of 35% compared to last year, stated Sorin Stoica, the company’s co-owner.

The tour operator wants to expand into the online sector to increase vacation sales globally. The largest part of sales is provided by circuits and relaxation-oriented vacations.

The company wants to focus on the online segment in the future and become a supplier for other booking systems as well.

Every year, Eturia contracts 6,000 airline tickets. Among the company’s clients are Romanians living abroad, as well as foreign citizens living in Romania.

The destinations with the highest growth are: India, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia, Peru, as well as the Maldives, Mauritius, and the Dominican Republic.

He also estimates that, with the lifting of visas for Canada starting January 1, 2018, the number of tourists will increase from 20 currently to 200 next year, and in 3-4 years, “I believe we will sell 600-800 vacations per year in Canada,” Stoica estimates.
