Constantin Serban Cantacuzino, the owner of Hanul lui Manuc, intends to expand the business and set up a 33-room hotel on the building’s upper floor this year, which will preserve the historical atmosphere.
The investment will not exceed EUR 1 million, and the furnishing works will be completed this year.
"The hotel is inside, on the upper floor. We want to create a boutique hotel. It has a unique feature because the room entrance is from the porch, as it once was at the Inn. There are 33 rooms. The renovation shouldn’t cost more than EUR 10,000. I have already been collecting furniture pieces over time," stated Cantacuzino.
