Dragoș and Adrian Pavăl buy a landmark hotel in Switzerland

Pavăl Holding, through brothers Dragos and Adrian Pavăl, the owners of Dedeman, together with Apex Alliance, have acquired the five-star Waldhaus Flims Wellness Resort in Switzerland.
The new owners plan to preserve the resort’s historic character and reopen it next year.
In addition to accommodation, the hotel also has several restaurants, including a gourmet restaurant, “Epoca by Tristan Brandt”, which was awarded a Michelin star in 2022.
Paval Holding is on its second high-profile international investment, following the acquisition of the historic Grand Hotel Gardone in Italy in 2023.
Meanwhile, Apex Alliance is expanding its portfolio to 17 hotels across Europe.
As an official franchisee, the company represents world-class brands such as Hilton, Marriott and Radisson.
In Romania, the company manages six hotels, including Europa Royale and Marmorosch.
The new owners have committed to invest in modernizing the infrastructure, technical systems and other comfort solutions, turn the project into a year-round attraction, create new jobs and activate the sales potential through their own network of partners.
Pavăl Holding became, after a series of acquisitions totaling more than 800 mil.
EUR over the last few years, Pav Holding has become the second largest owner of office space in the country after Globalworth.
Thus, the group has acquired among the portfolio of CA Immo, The Bridge project, the first building of the U Center complex, Dacia One, all in Bucharest, as well as The Office project in Cluj Napoca.
