Events in Turkey, France, or Syria have impacted the choice of vacation type, with about 25% of tourists from previous years, who spent their holidays in Greece, Turkey, or Spain, opting for a cruise this year.
The most sought-after are exotic cruises in the Caribbean, the Emirates, Southeast Asia, or South America. Among these, 80% of bookings represent complete packages with flights included from Bucharest and transfers, where rates start from EUR 640/person in an interior cabin (excluding airport and port taxes) for the Emirates and EUR 1,099/person (excluding airport and port taxes) for those in the Caribbean. In second place are Mediterranean itineraries, East and West, followed by cruises in the Northern Fjords and Northern Europe.
