Cristescu Brothers to Invest €5M in a Conference Center in Timisoara

Businessman Marius Cristescu stated that next year he will start the construction of a conference center in Timisoara, an investment of over €5 million.
Brothers Marius and Emil Cristescu control the 209-room Timisoara Hotel, a hotel in Sannicolau Mare with a capacity of 45 rooms, and the two-star Nord hostel in Timisoara with 39 rooms.
They have invested over €10 million in upgrading the Timisoara Hotel from 4 to 5 stars.
“Hotel business has grown by 30% to date. More than half of the clients who stayed in our hotels are foreign tourists coming from all corners of the world,” stated Marius Cristescu.
Last year, the company Bega Turism recorded a turnover of 31.8 million RON, compared to 28.8 million RON in 2014.
Cristescu also specified that he will continue the development of the center in Orastie and estimates that next year the park will have 100,000 clients.
