On June 1, Brașov – Ghimbav International Airport (AIBG – GHV) welcomed a new airline. It is the Greek company Sky Express, which inaugurated charter flights to and from Heraklion, Crete.

Between June 1 and September 21, every Saturday, the Greek operator Sky Express flies you to vacations in the ‘Island of the Gods,’ the largest and most populated of the Greek islands, a paradise with golden beaches and multi-millennial history,” AIBG representatives stated.
Currently, Sky Express joins TAROM and Corendon Airlines, which operate flights to Antalya from Ghimbav.
Until September 27, Corendon provides a direct connection from Brașov to the beaches of Antalya every Friday.
