Covasna Resort was named “Best Spa Destination” in the “Resorts” category during the Spa Romania 2024 Awards Gala, an event that took place from May 14-16 at Balvanyos Resort. Also during the Gala, Balvanyos Resort – Grand Santerra Spa won the grand prize in the “Best SPA Hotel/Resort for relaxation & leisure” category, and the company Turism Covasna received the special jury prize for the “Best Spa Hotel Chain.” In total, Covasna County secured 6 awards during this event.
The Mayor of Covasna Resort, Gyerő József, stated that the award obliges local authorities and the business environment to remain involved in developing local tourism and increasing the area’s competitiveness and attractiveness.
