Construction works increased in July by 15.4% compared to the same month last year

In July 2015, the volume of construction works decreased compared to the previous month as a gross series by 1.4%, and as a series adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, it increased by 1.4%. Compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, the volume of construction works increased both as a gross series and as a series adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, by 15.4% and 15.2%, respectively. In the period 1.I‐31.VII.2015, the volume of construction works increased compared to the period 1.I‐31.VII. 2014, both as a gross series and as a series adjusted for the number of working days  and seasonality by 11.3% and 11.6%, respectively.

July 2015 compared to June 2015

The volume of construction works decreased as a gross series by 1.4%, a decrease highlighted in maintenance and current repair works by 3.3% and in new construction works by 2.8%. Capital repair works increased by 10.3%. By construction objects, engineering structures decreased by 6.0%. Increases occurred in residential buildings and non-residential buildings by 9.1% and 3.8%, respectively. As a series adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, an overall increase of 1.4% was recorded, highlighted in maintenance and current repair works and capital repair works by 8.7% and 6.7%, respectively. New construction works decreased by 1.3%. By construction objects, increases occurred as follows: residential buildings by 17.2%, non-residential buildings and engineering structures by 1.1% each.

July 2015 compared to July 2014

The volume of construction works increased as a gross series by 15.4%. By structural elements, increases occurred as follows: capital repair works by 21.8%, maintenance and current repair works by 15.1%, and new construction works by 14.2%. By construction objects, the volume of construction works increased for non-residential buildings by 24.4%, for engineering structures by 13.6%, and for residential buildings by 5.4%. As a series adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, the volume of construction works increased by 15.2%. By structural elements, increases were recorded in maintenance and current repair works by 14.9% and in both new construction works and capital repair works by 14.7% each. By construction objects, the volume of construction works increased as follows: for non-residential buildings by 25.3%, for engineering structures by 10.6%, and for residential buildings by 8.9%.

Period 1.I‐31.VII.2015 compared to period 1.I‐31.VII.2014

The volume of construction works increased overall, as a gross series, by 11.3%. By structural elements, increases occurred in capital repair works by 15.8%, in maintenance and current repair works by 11.8%, and in new construction works by 10.2%. By construction objects, the volume of construction works increased as follows: non-residential buildings by 15.5%, engineering structures by 10.8%, and residential buildings by 5.0%. As a series adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, the volume of construction works increased overall by 11.6%. By structural elements, increases were recorded as follows: capital repair works by 19.3%, new construction works by 11.5%, and maintenance and current repair works by 9.6%. By construction objects, the volume of construction works increased as follows: non-residential buildings by 17.7%, residential buildings by 11.5%, and engineering structures by 2.4%.
